M/R Trading cc (monks-ruins trading cc) is a privately owned international trading and distribution company. Our management has many years experience in the fields of importing and distributing. The basic function of the company is to source, market and distribute supermarket foodstuffs, household items and beverages from both the domestic and overseas markets. We also market products directly to the consumer through promotions and via exhibitions and festivals.
M/R Trading cc started out as a small business in 2008 when the core business of the company at that time was supplying items to business people coming from Zambia and the DRC Congo to South Africa to buy foodstuffs and other grocery items. The company has grown rapidly since then and now employs over 60 people with warehouse and office space in the main economic center of South Africa with the head office situated in Johannesburg.
In South Africa, we are well established with a highly professional sales, marketing, and warehousing and distribution operation. Consequently we are able to deal with all the major supermarkets and independent retail operators in the following countries; South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Zambia and the DRC Congo. We are continuously sourcing products, which we feel have the potential to impact on the regions' markets. We have all the necessary experience and knowledge to ensure the success of our suppliers.
Our management also has extensive Events planning/management experience and is contracted to some of South Africa's largest and most successful Events, Expo companies and shopping malls/centers' through-out South Africa. A platform we use to market products directly to the public.
